RediRoot Plastic

RediRoot Plastic Pots are specialized containers designed for air root pruning, a process that promotes healthy root development by preventing root circling and stimulating the growth of fibrous roots. These containers feature a slatted design which helps prune roots naturally.

RediRoot Fabric

Made from a durable, BPA-free fabric, RediRoot Fabric Aeration Bags encourage the natural pruning of roots as they reach the edges of the container. This process, called air pruning, results in a healthier, more fibrous root structure essential for optimal plant growth and translatability.

RediRoot Propagation

Promote stronger plant growth from the start with RediRoot propagation systems. Our aerated cell design improves airflow to developing roots and fosters the growth of the fibrous feeder roots—making RediRoot ideal for propagation and transplanting success.

What is air root pruning? What’s so great about it, anyway?
Air root pruning happens naturally when roots contact air. This action ultimately promotes more lateral, fibrous, root growth.

RediRoot containers enhance this gentle pruning method, helping plants absorb nutrients and water better, leading to higher yields, less transplant shock, and quicker establishment. #morerootsmorefruits

Why are circling roots bad for my plants and trees?
Roots are the foundation of a plant or tree. The fibrous roots move out from the plant horizontally in soil to search for water and nutrients, this also helps provide some stability for plants and trees.

When roots begin to circle, as they do in a traditional solid wall container, they never stop. This means that over time circling roots strangle your plants and trees. Circling also reduces fibrous root growth.
